The Aqua Bound Manta Ray Hybrid Posi-Lok Paddle is a good paddle for high-angle horsepower and heavier boats. It features Aqua Bound’s largest paddle blade, so that extra surface area displaces more water for more speed, more power, and more aggressive maneuvering. As part of Aqua Bound’s touring lineup, however, the Manta Ray Hybrid features a lightweight carbon shaft with fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades for a light yet strong build that channels our energy into propelling and controlling our boat, not wielding a cumbersome paddle. The Posi-Lok ferrule also offers easy adjustments to offset our blades in 15-degree increments to respond to changing wind and water conditions. That adds up to a premium paddle with plenty of power for our recreational or touring kayaks.
